Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of myschoolpartner.app and related services (the “Service”), provided by My School Partner (“myschoolpartner,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The service
myschoolpartner is a shared record for local school–business sponsorships. Schools track what they promised each sponsor, mark deliverables done with proof, and businesses confirm or dispute them. The Service helps both sides see the same record; it does not guarantee any sponsorship outcome.
Accounts & eligibility
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be authorized to act for the organization you represent. You are responsible for activity under your account and for your teammates you invite.
Subscriptions & billing
- School organizations require an active subscription to run programs. Businesses invited to a sponsorship can view, confirm, dispute, and RSVP for free; a paid Business plan adds the multi-school portfolio and aggregated reports.
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through our payment provider (Stripe). Fees are charged in advance and, except where required by law, are non-refundable.
- You can cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the current billing period. We may change pricing prospectively with notice.
Sponsorship payments are tracked, not processed
The Service lets schools record the money associated with a sponsorship for tracking purposes only. We do not process, hold, or transfer payments between businesses and schools. Any such payment is solely between those parties.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit, including proof uploads. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and display that content as needed to operate the Service — including showing it to the other party of a sponsorship you are part of. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload and for not submitting anything unlawful or infringing.
Acceptable use
- Don't misuse the Service, attempt to access other organizations' data, or disrupt its operation.
- Don't upload malicious files or content that is illegal, infringing, or violates others' rights.
- Don't use the Service to send spam or to harass others.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Year-end value and giving summaries are documentation generated from your records; they are not tax, accounting, or legal advice — consult your own professional.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, myschoolpartner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; certain provisions survive.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
